LUCID THINKING

A company reimagined.

Getting a call from AMI. Listening to Derrick's ideas and vision, turned into a dynamic 3+ years engagement. Working together to deliver his next step into a more defined world worked beautifully.

DELIVERED

Targeted Advertising.

Making the impossible, possible. Working in combination with company HR and reps throughout the process increased the depth of the advertising reach in LinkedIn with a clear focus on market audience.

GETTING INVOLVED

Building better teams.

The AMI leaf is their connective tissue. The emblem is carried throughout their marketing initiatives as a reference to the AMI MINT Methodology™ for application life-cycle management.

The use of a direct answer coupled with an often thought question was used effectively to start a conversation with the user about how they could increase their own business practices. The content blocks presented the balance between work & how it moves & bends at speed and still maintains excellence, high quality & integrity.

SOMETIMES THE ANSWERS ARE NOT ALWAYS EARTH-SHATTERING, BUT VERY RELEVANT.

HE ANSWERED THEIR CALL.

Rob was asked his opinion of their logo. He also knows people get attached to their company logo on a personal level. The response was enthusiastic and honest.

After a few discussions, meetings, reviews of internal marketing & business model information it was time to start, and that, was with an update to the logo.

Making small, detailed alterations can have an uplifting feeling while keeping the essence of the original design, which in this case had become widely recognized in their industry.

Rob tweaked the leaf by spinning it around its structure giving it an upward tilt, cleaned up the linework, gave it a spine and a small colour shift to give it a little more prominence, create movement within the emblem, and have a better balance with the wordmark. The wordmark was given a subtle colour shift and scale to be more inline with the emblem.

After working out the architecture and paths of least resistance (UX) for their website and app software, Rob embarked on the UI creative concepts & ideas, all while keeping in mind that everything designed in any stage will be brought into existence with the rest of the designed materials. Here are some of the icons developed for the website and then carried into other materials. The three states presented here represent Active, Hover, and Link.

There will be new designs developed for the brand over time and as long as they align with the characteristics of the imagery, quality of design, and foresight into the world of business models, perfect.

There was heaps of design, writing, collaboration & design for AMI’s external clients, two book designs concerning SAP® and much more than represented here.

SNAPSHOT IN TIME

Mentoring and engaging in philosophical conversations, brought a deeper connection to business and the creative processes. Combining that with bringing his thoughts into existence with a sketch, drawing, and final artwork was incredibly fulfilling.
